Get Involved – Volunteers Needed

Would you like to be a volunteer at the upcoming CCIC: Africa Canada Forum Colloquium: “Strengthening Solidarity: Bridging Bridges between Programming and Advocacy Work”

October 21, 2015: Ottawa

We are looking for dynamic and dedicated volunteers for the annual Africa-Canada Forum colloquium. You could contribute your time to specific tasks, including translation, preparing colloquium packages, helping at registration, ushering, leading social media twitter feeds, timekeeping. As a volunteer you can also attend the forum events free of charge.  Please take a look at our concept note and draft agenda for more information.

Please note that volunteers must be available around the second week of October for a colloquium briefing and preparation session. In addition it is strongly preferred that volunteers be able to participate for the full day.

If this sounds like an opportunity for you, please send an e-mail to Kimberly MacMillan (kmacmillan@ccic.ca) by September 15 along with a copy of your résumé.

Thank-you for your interest and we look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Kimberly MacMillan
