Get Involved – Volunteers

Would you like to be a volunteer at the upcoming CCIC: Africa Canada Forum Symposium: “Building Partnerships to Tackle Inequality:  Opportunities and Challenges for African and Canadian CSOs”

October 14-15, 2014: Ottawa
We are looking for dynamic and dedicated volunteers for the annual Africa-Canada Forum colloquium. You could contribute your time to specific tasks, including translation, preparing colloquium packages, helping at registration, ushering, and setting-up and taking-down of equipment. As a volunteer you can also attend the forum events free of charge.  Please take a look at our concept note and draft agenda for more information.

Please note that volunteers must be available on October 9 from 1-2pm for a colloquium briefing and preparation session. In addition it is strongly preferred that volunteers be able to participate at both days of the conference.

If you are interested, please send an e-mail to Kimberly MacMillan at kmacmillan@ccic.ca by September 15th along with a copy of your resumé.

Thank-you for your interest and we look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Kimberly MacMillan
