CCIC's Federal Election Platform, distributed to all candidates, is available in pamphlet format. The pamphlet, based on CCIC's 10-Point Agenda to End Poverty and Injustice, is a useful tool to urge candidates to put ending poverty on the election agenda. (September 2008) (PDF 469 Kb)

Canada Must Be a Leader on Global Poverty at G8: In a letter to Prime Minister Stephen Harper in advance of the G8 meeting in Italy, CCIC called on the Prime Minister to "address the urgent needs of countries in the global South who are disproportionately affected by the global financial, economic and food crises and climate change."
