What do I do if I think a CCIC member is not complying with the Code of Ethics and Operational Standards?

First, if possible, approach the organization with your concern.  Your concern may be related to a practice that the organization is not aware is happening, and it needs to be informed in order to deal with it promptly.  It may be a practice for which the organization can provide a reasonable explanation and alleviate your concern.  If this approach is not satisfactory, or if the issue is one that requires confidentiality, then complete the Registration of Concern form and submit it for review by the Membership Committee.  CCIC is not mandated to monitor the practices of members.  The ethical responsibility to act lies foremost with those who see a practice that concerns them.  The CCIC concern procedure exists to address such concerns, but it must be initiated by members or the general public.
