MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT-CEO

The UN General Assembly, Climate Change and the Post-2015 Agenda

Last week, as some of us stay home busily going about our business, in New York hundreds of thousands gathered over the week-end to march in support of action on climate change, and thousands will be gathering over the coming days to move the Post-2015 agenda forward within the context of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

MEMBER PROFILE: British Columbia Council for International Cooperation

Australian High Commissioner asked to Support El Salvador over Mining Conflict

On September 18, a group of Ottawa-based organizations, including Mining Watch Canada and SalvAide, submitted a letter urging the Australian High Commissioner to work with the Australian government to pressure Australian-Canadian OceanaGold to drop its $301 million lawsuit against El Salvador.
