The award-winning Wabano* Centre for Aboriginal Health is one of ten Ontario community health centres that provides a wide range of medical clinics, social services and support, and youth programs for Ottawa’s nearly 40,000 Aboriginal people. All services are based on implementing best practices for community health care, and Wabano incorporates the teachings, culture, and traditions of Aboriginal people.
